Normal Christian Practices, L.C. I grew up in a Christian family and I touched the truths in the ministry of Witness Lee and Watchman Nee when I was a junior in high school. Since then, I've continued reading their ministry books because I have been, and still am, impressed by the riches in the truths and the vital practices of a normal Christian. Now, I'm in the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) and the time I've spent here has been most glorious. I wouldn't trade my time here for anything else. Here, in the FTTA, the Lord Jesus has become more real to me each day. Through the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, my top enjoyment here has been in contacting the Lord in my human spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23) to spend much time with the Lord and in calling on His name. (Romans 10:13) According to John 4:24, God is Spirit and so I must worship Him in spirit and truthfulness. Without the real worship in my spirit, God is merely an objective Person who seems to be so far away from me. God desires to have a personal, sweet, and intimate relationship with man by dispensing Himself as life into His believers. The more I spend time in prayer with the Lord, the more personal and intimate He is to me. At times when I am anxious about certain situations in my life, I go to have some time with the Lord. Although my situations may not change after my time with the Lord, the Lord is still faithful to dispense Himself as peace into me (Philippians 4:7). Also, I've enjoyed the practice of calling on the name of the Lord (Genesis 4:26). Not only does calling on the name of the Lord save me (Acts 2:21), but also, it is my spiritual breathing (Lamentations 3:55-56). I call because I realize that I need God as life to me. (John 10:10) Oh, how rich He is to me when I call upon Him! I just love Him! Main | History | Testimonies | Links Copyright © 2002. Christian Websites. All Rights Reserved |
